Autobacs D1 Grand Prix Series Round 3 at Sportsland Sugo Circuit in Miyagi, Japan
This was the first time the D1 Grand Prix drift series took place on an international racing circuit instead of the kart courses used until 2004. Sportland Sugo was also notable for the spectators, as it was the first time in D1 GP to watch from seats on the inside of a corner.
