The GM-B2100 inherits the octagonal form of the original G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C. The black accents accentuate the silver accents, emphasizing the G-SHOCK's strength while creating a monotone design that complements a wide range of styles. The top bezel features a hairline finish, and the indices are silver-plated for enhanced visibility. The stainless steel bezel is forged, machined, and polished to create a three-dimensional shape. A fine resin buffer is placed between the bezel and case to achieve a full metal shock-resistant construction. The metal band pieces are dimpled, inheriting the resin band design of the original model. Manufactured at Yamagata Casio, the same company that created the original G-SHOCK, the watch also features an airtight screw-back case.
